Okay folks, here’s the deal. I want to relocate to Portland, OR this fall. Taxes hurt me, but I want to believe this isn’t a crazy endeavor— so I’m going to try something new as an ongoing project. I’m going to offer themed commissions, after one of my favorite things to draw: animals.

Wonderland in limited color.
This just in, I love Wonderland too much. A few spots from early in the book; if I had a ton of money I would produce a pretty copy of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, designed and typeset by one of my talented designer friends. I think I will continue to illustrate these smaller scenes in limited palette and leave other scenes to be full color. I like the difference of Alice in color...
What it is.
Lately I’m finding a craving to record things. I guess it’s that need to connect and make an imprint on others and share mistakes along with solutions. So I’m rebooting the idea of blogging in my head— going to try and stick to posting frequently, sharing rough ideas and finished illustrations, prototyping things I want to make, talking about process along with my own...
