Thanks everyone for the groundswell of support for Art for Japan; we’ve gotten close to 200 people (possibly more) interested in donating their work. Which is HUGE and beyond anything that I would’ve expected. I’m trying to respond to people as I can— Alice is working on her dissertation and I’m wrapping up a book so we’re only emailing in spurts. Apologies.
Due to the huge gush of people wanting to support the effort, I’m going to have to close down submissions. Unless I write you specifically to ask you to donate or we know each other, please don’t email anymore about donating. We thank you for the interest though— and please if you’re still interested in donating work to help relief efforts in Japan or in other countries (who definitely need it too), we welcome you to consider posting on Etsy or eBay or any shop and donating the proceeds yourselves. You’re awesome. Thanks!
