So this being a rebirth of sorts, dusting off the old shoes and trying to work up a blog again, I might as well share some newer work right? My friend Lauren  (a very talented illustrator and animator in her own right) requested a portrait of her and her fella surrounded by the things they love in the vein of this little portrait I did in the winter.Only too happy to comply. This gave me a chance to experiment with technique and start working through refining and streamlining my process, which can be an all-too-clunky thing. Once I get more comfortable with this new method I’ll share some ideas of how it works!
