Rose City Bestiary, pt. 3 of many.

Some more updates to the bestiary…. as usual, lots more to come. Really enjoying washes, though I can’t wait to have more practice!

Rose City Bestiary, pt. 2 of many. (Pokemon edition!)

So it’s the eve of my birthday, and I’ve got two full days off which means I’m knocking out as many of my Bestiary commissions as I can. (You’ve all been super patient and I appreciate it! I think I’m going to use it as an excuse to practice washes—so most will be wash, not just black ink) Here are two from the Bestiary— both characters from Pokemon. Zigzagoon is a raccoon-like Pokemon that I don’t think I ever caught—he’s newer and was pretty tricky to ‘catch’ in this commission! Here he’s hanging out with some delicious berries. And the second is Bulbasaur— a classic!

If anyone wants to commission me for further Pokemon, feel free— this was surprisingly a lot of fun to try and pull these creatures into my style.

Next up- a Boston Terrier and a few more surprises.

Rose City Bestiary, pt. 1 of many.

So I’ve been a little bogged down and only recently started working on my commissions— apologies all! Hopefully you’ll agree they’ll be worth the wait. But for now here are two of them. I may flop back and forth between straight black and white and washes— I love the look of washes but am still learning how to do them! I need to find my sumi ink supplies again… Flying tiger and bear, away!
